Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, are currently looking for extrusion labourers to join their growing team. Within this role you will undertake a range of both manual and technical tasks. This includes, but is not limited to machine operation (blown film extrusion) and reporting on specifications of production and quality assurance. You will be given 5 weeks of intensive training about the companies products and procedures in order to ensure you are able to complete your job at maximum efficiency.  Key Responsibilities: Operating a blown film extrusion machine (machine operation experience is desirable) Opening bags of resin and ensuring quantities are correct for each productRemoving extruded products Reporting on each product to ensure quality assurance Ensuring safety is a high priority Have a positive attitude*YOU WILL BE PLACED ON A ROTATING ROSTER. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU ARE AVAILABLE FOR MORNING (6AM - 2PM), AFTERNOON (2PM-10PM) AND NIGHT SHIFT (10PM-6AM) - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE AND IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE ROLE.Skills, qualifications and experience:  You do not need to have experience in blown film extrusion, however experience in manufacturing is highly desirableA basic level of math skills is a MUSTA background in machine operation is a MUSTAbility to lift up to 25kg is highly desirable As part of our screening process, you will be subject to a medical test that incorporates a fitness test, as well as a drug and alcohol test.
