Our client is a leading Pet Foods manufacturer located in Wangara.

They are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to help fault find and repair their production machines. Units of operation include, Mincing, Grinding, Compressed Air, Conveyer Belts, Heat Exchangers, Refrigeration and food packaging.

You will have support from a fully licenced electrician and a mechanical fitter on site. Daily work will be divided between daily maintenance and fixing machines that break down.

Pay is negotiable and will be depend on experience and machinery knowledge - up to $30 per hour. You will be working monday to friday, 9am to 5pm.

This position does have potential to move to a more senior role if you are interested, as they are looking for a Maintenance Fitter and a Maintenance Manager at the moment.

Candidates with the following will be contacted;

• Food production and/or pet food industry experience
• 10 years machine operation experience
• Competency in fault finding and fixing machinery
• Able to use hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
• C class licence and own transport
• Steel cap boots
