ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - CONTRACTOR / MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

- Temp Role - Part time - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7.6 hour days
Our client is a Warehouse located in the Welshpool / Kewdale area, and they are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance / Contractor Administrator to join their Engineering team.
Part Time - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This is a temporary role at this stage, 3 - 6 months.
As part of this role you will be responsible for;
- Ensure safety requirements are in proposed tenders
- Ensure contractors undergo inductions and supply evidence of workers comp and public liability coverage
- Review and ensure that a correct JSEA is provided by contractor prior to commencement of work
- Maintain a register of site preferred contractors
- Ensure systems, building and equipment are repairs to relevant standards
- Maintain operational requirements, MHE, racking, socks, refrigeration plant temp monitoring and logs, buildings and grounds
- Preventative maintenance scheduling and documentation using the MEX software program
- Maintain communication with contractors and all relevant staff at all times
You will need the below to be considered for this role;
- 3 -5 years contractor management experience
- Trade safety or trade industry experience
- Experience with MEX maintenance management software or similar
- Strong administration and data entry skills
- Computer literate, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and rapport building skills
- Be flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn approach
- Ability to work autonomously as part of a team
- C Class Driver’s Licence and own transport
You will be required to undertake pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing prior to commencement of this role.
