Assistant Production Planner

Our client is currently looking for an Assistant Production Planner to join their team to assist their Production Manager in the day to day running of their factory. The factory produces bulk amounts of timber pallets. As part of this role you will be responsible for;Developing and planning of work schedulesInventory management and stock takingOrdering of stock and consumablesOrganising machinery maintenance as it is requiredQuality Assurance of jobs and work being completedTo be considered you will need the following;A trade qualification in timber manufacturing such as cabinet making or carpentry and / or equivalent experience Previous experience in production planning and coordinationExcellent time management, planning and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsReliability, high work ethic and able to commit to a long term roleCurrent LF Forklift LicenceCurrent C class drivers licence and own reliable transportAll successful applicants will be required to do a Pre Employment Medical at time of interview which includes instant Drug and alcohol testing.  Australia - WA Bunbury & South West

To be considered you will need the following;

  • Previous experience in production planning and coordination
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability, high work ethic and able to commit to a long term role
  • Current LF Forklift Licence
  • Current C class drivers licence and own reliable transport
