Our client located in O'Connor requires an enthusiastic and experienced Despatch/Administration Clerk for their fast based operations .
This role is for an immediate start and temp to perm
Hours will be Monday - Friday 830am - 5pm
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Processing the daily work in the despatch office
- Processing of picking packing slips for delivery
- Ensuring all stated customer service and quality expectations are met
- Assisting in the scheduling of delivery runs to minimize transport costs
- Ensuring appropriate documentation is created for all products before leaving site
- Secure freight quotations as required
- Attend to the Customer Collect area
- Assist in the warehouse when required - pick packing etc
- Provide leading hands with vehicle and load information to ensure the efficient uses of resources
- Organising courier pick up and deliveries
- Liaise with Customer Service Officer
- Liaise with customers to meet their delivery requirements
- Other relevant tasks as required by the Distribution Manager
TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL HAVE
- Excellent administrative skills and experience
- Experience in a warehouse environment desirable
- Experience in despatch highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good attention to detail
- Outstanding time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Physical fitness for work
- Reliability
- Own transport
The successful candidate will need to be able to pass a pre employment physical including a drug and alcohol screen
