Role Requirements

As a pivotal part of the maintenance team, you will be required, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Manufacturing of controller panels and circuits  
  • Assembly of electrical wiring between controllers, electric motors and switchgear
  • Design of circuits and wiring diagrams
  • Program simple PLCs with variable speed drives
  • Receiving deliveries and unload trucks
  • Pick & pack orders, make up timber pallets and skids for delivery
  • Keep workshop & warehouse clean & tidy
  • Working on various sites for repairs if needed – controller repairs, troubleshooting, installations of pumps and the like,
  • Work could involve working with sewage pumping stations & trade waste systems.
  • Deliveries of materials to sites

 

Successful candidate

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

  • Electrician – with Supervisors licence
  • Past experience within this or a similar role – programming PLC’s, working with electric motors/pumps
  • Forklift license (a must)
  • Reliability
  • Good communication
  • Non-smoker as the site is a smoke-free zone
