Short description:We are currently seeking an Front End Loader Operator (Afternoon shift) for an ASAP start, working in a metal recycling yard in the Blacktown area. Client Details Our client is an Australian owned and operated private company, who is a buyer and seller of all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.   • Plenty of overtime - up to 56hrs a week

Description

You will be required, but no limited to the following duties:

  • Use of Front End Loader (FEL) to sort through recyclables
  • Use of FEL to make stock piles
  • Loading truck with FEL
  • Picking and sorting through recyclables (NOT landfill)
  • Upkeep of the yard to ensure other plant operators safety
  • Directing incoming traffic and other plant yard

 

Successful candidate

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

  • Experience using a Front End Loader
  • Current forklift license (desirable)
  • Physically fit (a lot of manual handling)
  • Reliability
  • Good communication
