Our client; a National Leader in the Plastics Manufacturing now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE FITTERS to join their growing team.You will have the opportunitiy to work in a state of the art Factory and work for a Multi National company. WETHERILL PARK Location.   Monday - Friday Morning shift 9:30am - 6pm  with Overtime on offer and call outs. Pay Rate will be $50.62 per hour + Overtime Rates Position will be Casual for Trial period then Permanent full time,  ASAP Start for the successful applicant.  MUST BE FLEXIBLE  !!!!!! Duties: ResponsibleUndertake Preventative & Scheduled Maintenance Activities as defined by CMMSContribute to Information Feedback as determined by CMMS Work OrdersRespond to break down situations to repair to all plant equipment as requested by Production & Assets Team LeaderEnsure temporary repairs are reported to Assets Team Leader for permanent repair to be implementedLiaise with supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment.Ensure any adjustments to any plant machinery are approved by Production Supervisor/Asset Team Leader, prior to implementation.Record any defects found during performance of work.Correct & accurate completion of Work orders for accurate traceabilityCommit to providing On Call Support. Duties: Responsible
  • Undertake Preventative & Scheduled Maintenance Activities as defined by CMMS
  • Contribute to Information Feedback as determined by CMMS Work Orders
  • Respond to break down situations to repair to all plant equipment as requested by Production & Assets Team Leader
  • Ensure temporary repairs are reported to Assets Team Leader for permanent repair to be implemented
  • Liaise with supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment.
  • Ensure any adjustments to any plant machinery are approved by Production Supervisor/Asset Team Leader, prior to implementation.
  • Record any defects found during performance of work.
  • Correct & accurate completion of Work orders for accurate traceability
  • Commit to providing On Call Support. ( Call ins on breakdowns)

 

To be considered for this role, applicants MUST:

 

  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualifications as a Fitter (mechanical) required
  • Tradesman Certificate – 5 years Minimum.
  • Minimum 5 years post trade experience, or other experience deemed relevant by the Assets Manager.
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Policies and Principles.
  • Fabrication experience
  • Preventative maintenance and Breakdowns
  • Good welding and Fabrication experience (Mig,Tig,Arc welding)is essential
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Electrical connect /Disconnect
  • Confined Space licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • EWP Licence
  • First Aid certificate - Desirable but not essential
  • Able to read technical drawings if required
  • Experience with moving ,replacing and fitting Motors
  • Have the ability to work overtime where required
  • Be dedicated to safe working practices
  • Be able to commence ASAP!!!!
  • Have own reliable transportation
  • Have all required PPE safety equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
