METAL MANUFACTURING LABOURER / GENERAL HAND WANTED - WETHERILL PARK LOCATION -

Our client, a leader in the Engineering industry, are looking for a Manufacturing Labourer /General hand to join their growing team. 

Position will be AFTERNOON SHIFT Monday - Friday with possible weekend shifts - also position will be view to permanency.

In this hands on role, you will be required to perform various manual tasks to assist in the running of the factory. Below you will find all duties involved, however this role may not be limited to the below listed. 

Duties involved:

• Assisting with plate deliveries using overhead crane
• Loading machine bed with plates required for cutting
• despatching customer completed orders ( training provided)
• General duties manual handling duties which will include grinding metal and  cleaning finished products prior to despatch
• general cleaning and maintenance within the factory

Requirements will be:

• Ability to work in an on-going position
• CURRENT FORKLIFT LICENCE
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Able to follow instructions
• Willingness to achieve objectives
• Good attitude and positive attitude
• physically fit as this position involves a lot of manual handling
• Willingness to learn
• Able to work reasonable O/T
• Prior use of overhead cranes desirable but not essential

Desirable not mandatory

• Steel industry experience.
