Our blue collar division has earned a reputation as a premium service provider to the Supply Chain Industry across Australia and New Zealand.As a result of growth and expansion, we are now seeking to appoint a National WHS & Compliance Manager.Your role as National WHS & Compliance Manager is to provide leadership through coordination of the organisations workplace health and safety management system, including ensuring high standards of safety, health and well-being for all workers and compliance with all relevant legislation, as well as managing our RTW and Injury Management division.The National WHS & Compliance Manager, in collaboration with key stakeholders, implements and evaluates all safety directions and initiatives, and monitors and reports outcomes to all levels of the organisation.Central to this role, is a high level of knowledge and skills by which effective risk controls can be determined and recommended across a high number of host employers and the impact on safety outcomes can be effectively assessed.This role also encompasses responsibility for return to work coordination, monitoring, injury management and review from an individual case perspective through to national claims reviews and insurance company liaison.Key responsibilities include:Ensure that all host sites offer a safe working environment for Labourforce candidatesManage RTW & IM across Australia in conjunction with existing RTW teamExercise due diligence (as per WHS legislation and company Safety Management System) to ensure the organisation complies with the WHS laws.Monitor and ensure the continuous improvement of existing policies, procedures, processes and practices.Set the strategy and support the organisation through, developing and implementing WHS Plans in consultation with stakeholders and key personnel to assist the organisation achieve required safety performance and continuous improvementWhat you will bring to the role: • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Safety Manager role or Senior Advisor. Experience in RTW / Injury Management. • Certificate IV, Diploma in Safety or Environmental, or in a similar qualification. • Strong knowledge and understanding of NSW / VIC / QLD Safety and Environmental laws, codes, standards and associated obligations. • Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and concise reports and documentation to stakeholders. You will be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, however, to be successful in this position, you must be willing to travel between sites across Australia and NZ if required.Look forward to hearing from you.
