PROJECT MANAGER – CATALYST PROJECT

Our client a Local Council located in the Eastern suburbs is seeking a Project Manager for their Catalyst Project, to provide leadership; and to implement the Council's new ERP Solution, OneCouncil (TechOne solution)This is a permanent fixed term position to commence asap and commencing on the 31st December 202.This role is to provide effective Project Management in a complex business environment, in order to introduce a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution; specifically the TechnologyOne OneCouncil Software-as-a-Service Platform.Managing Internal resources, ensuring roles are clearly defined and they are held clearly accountable for their deliverable's under the overall Project Plan.  Managing third party service providers.  Facilitate and drive the major transformational aspects of the project in collaboration with the projects Change Manager. QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING/EXPERIENCERelevant Project Management accreditation, ideally PRINCE2 (tm)Significat experience in the delivery of an enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation project, in a complex and diverse business environmentExperience in managing complex teamsExperience in vendor management in a project environmentKnowledge:Demonstrable knowledge of Project Management processes, practices and requirementsDemonstrated knowledge of vendor management techniques in complex project environmentsKnowledge of the TechnologyOne OneCouncil suite of products is desirable Skills:proven project management and leadership skills, and a good knowledge of business analysis, ideally gained in the Local Government sector running major projectsDemonstrated expertise in the principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to closureStrong planning, and presentation skills, and proficiency in quality management techniquesStrong communication skills with diverse audiences, including vendors, IT practitioners, business stakeholders and organisational managementEffective management of project teamsProficiency in the use of relevant Project Management softwaredemonstrated planning and time management skillsSound conflict resolution, negotiation and advocacy skillsGood report writing, research and analytic skills   Australia - WA Perth Eastern Suburbs

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
