Labourforce is seeking the services for an experienced Rates Officer for a local Eastern Suburbs Council.This role is for an immediate start for 4 months finishing on 5th June 2020To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the below criteria.Experience in Local Government and Rating Services is desirable.Provide customer service to Council’s ratepayers and clientsHigh Level Administration Experience with examples such as: responding to incoming correspondence, record management, data entry, change of address, payment arrangements, e-rate applicationsHigh Level of experience in computer based systems, excel and word processing.Experience in customer service including phone and counter enquiriesPossession of Current C Class Drivers LicenseGeneral understanding of accounting principles (debits and credits) in relation to account reconciliations and processing of journalsAbility to accurately process and maintain data and financial transactionsWell developed communication skills both oral and written, including advances telephone skillsDeveloped conflict resolution sillsEffective time management and organisational skillsAll short listed candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical inc D&A  Australia - WA Perth Eastern Suburbs
