Our client a leading Local Council NOR is seeking the services of a Senior Strategic Planning Officer to start ASAP.This position is until the end of June 2019.The Senior Strategic Planning Officer is primarily responsible for all necessary work associated with correspondence, enquiries, proposals, policy, strategy development and decisions within the area of responsibility of the Business Unit.To be considered for this role, you will need to have the below requirements;Experience in Local Government PlanningTertiary level qualifications in Town Planning, or a related disciplineDemonstrated high level of knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of statutory and strategic Town Planning in a Local Government environmentExcellent research, analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to exercise decision-making and judgement in a logical, lawful and accountable mannerExcellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to negotiate at high levelsSound knowledge of the relevant legislation and statutory processesPlease send your resume to apply for this role.   • Tertiary level qualifications in Town Planning, or a related discipline
