TRADE ASSISTANT / WANTED DAY SHIFT ASAP START!!!

 Our client; a National Leader in Recycling Services are seeking a Afternoon shift TRADE ASSISTANT   to join their growing team based in Blacktown .         Blacktown location. Temp - Perm. Monday -  Saturday work. Afternoon shifts   . Overtime and weekend work included  ASAP Start.  this position will run 6 days per week and will require someone who is flexible and willing to work 10 hour days plus weekend work, if you are flexible and wanting long hours we want to hear from you.Pay rate will be between $27 - $28 per hour along with overtime ratesshift times 6AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday and 6AM start for Saturday work ABOUT THE POSITION Within this hands on role, you will be responsible for a variety of manual tasks to assist in the day to day running of the yard, including Assisting tradesman within the Maintenance team , grinding , cutting , fitting , welding and other manual tasksyou will be assisting Tradesman with machinery - Baler - shredders, conveyor systems, plant machinery such as excavators , front end loaders, bobcats ect To be considered for this role, applicants MUST: Experience operating power toolsFORKLIFT LICENCE & Experience highly desirable Experience within a similar position or within the Engineering / industrial industry a MUST.Previous Experience with Welding or Fitting Highly DesirableBe available to work Monday - Saturday ( overtime where required)Must be physically fit (as manual handling will be involved)Be Reliable and PunctualMust be able to work Saturday shiftsHave own reliable transportationBe available to commence ASAPHave all relevant PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Cap boots / High Visibility Clothing (any other required PPE will be advised) This position will provide stability and a full time permanent position with ongoing support for the successful applicants  As per the application process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical (conducted by our Onsit e Occupational Nurse during the interview stage) which includes a Drug and Alcohol test. Please note ONLY short listed Applicants will be contacted Australia - NSW Sydney Parramatta & Western Suburbs
