Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Our client is currently seeking an experience warehouse and logistics manager to join their operation based around Melbourne Airport. This role is pivotal in providing the best possible service to all internal and external customers.The DC Operations Manager duties shall include but are not necessarily limited to: Manage all the facets DC operation Supervision of various staff Ensure security measures are enforced on a daily basis Ensure quality procedures are enforced and updated to the levels described by quality system (ISO 9001:2000) Implement changes to and introduce new client processes and existing clients as required Ensure TMS (Time Management System) requirements are completed weekly, on time Maintenance program for all capital equipment including forklifts, floor sweepers and pallet racking etc Ensure regular cycle counts are undertaken and stock-takes occur as per client’s requests Ensure adequate training of new staff to enable integration into warehouse environment and identify areas training may be required with existing staff  Daily responsibility of freight management Meet all Quality, Environmental and OH&S criteria  Ensure all governing body licensing activities are followed in accordance with legislation.
