Our client a local council in the South Eastern Suburbs requires the services of two experienced Waste Disposal Officers.
Commencing 6th September 2021 through to 5th December 2021.
Hours: 38 hour week within a Monday to Sunday operation
This role provides quality service to all residents and customers in regard to the provision of landfill attendant services and recycling facility services, including the operation of plant including water trucks, hooklift trucks, tipper trucks and waste collection vehicles for the Landfill and Recycling facility
To be considered for this role you will need to have;
- Experience in landfill and recycling facility operations
- Previous experience in safe operation and user maintenance of water, hooklift and tipper trucks
- Understanding and commitment to providing a high level of internal and external customer service
- Ability to use a two way radio
- Understanding and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Ability to work well as part of a committed team
- Excellent organisational, time management and scheduling
- Current Police Clearance
- Minimum current HR Class drivers licence
- Ability to start asap and commit to the contract
- White Card
