We are currently seeking experienced Blenders/Batch Makers; whose main goal is to find long-term employment with a company who is a global leader in the Pharmaceutical industry
Client details
Our client, a family owned business located in Eastern Creek, started their humble beginnings in 1989 as an exporter of complementary medicines to the Middle East. Today, they have expanded their services, heavily upgraded their machinery, and now have the largest facility in Australia for the manufacturing of tablet and softgel capsules.
Description
As a vital part of their production team, you will be required, but not limited to the following duties – Please note; each point describes a different section in the process:
- Handling of raw materials – weighing and separating for batch making
- Pouring of raw materials into machine for mixing/blending
- Consistently lifting of up to 20kg bags
- You will be operating a machine, which blends/batches raw materials into an ingredient used to make therapeutic medicines
- Cleaning your area to ensure GMP and safety
Successful candidate
- I have found that anyone from the food or paint industry are successful, or anyone with a good background in batch making
- Clean police record (you will complete a police check before commencing)
- Physically fit for the role requirements (we also do pre-employment medicals, including a drug and alcohol test)
- Understands the importance of good hygiene, and keeping up with the company’s hygiene standards
- Able to lift between 15-25kgs
- A high attention to detail is required
- Own transport is desirable, but not a requirement as long as you are punctual
