Litter Buster Attendant – Local Council

Our client is a Local Council located South of the River and they require the services of several Litter Buster Attendants.4 x Positions available - Starting ASAP - Contract until next year, April 2020.You will be required to work on a 7 day roster - 8 days on, 6 days off - which does include weekend work.As part of this role you will be required to;Undertake litter removal on prescribed routes, wave pavements as necessaryParticipate in the investigation and removal of illegal dumping of rubbishEvents clean up, cleaning of public facilities, control trafficSite emergencies, oil spills, traffic accidents, vandalism and storm damage clean upProvide excellent customer service in a professional, effective and efficient mannerTo be short listed for this role, you will need to meet the below selection criteria;Previous experience in the use of high pressure equipment for cleaning and graffiti removalExperience in the safe operation and user maintenance of a broad range of plant and equipmentPrevious experience in a similar role is preferredCommitment to the delivery of outstanding customer serviceStrong attention to detailExcellent time management and organisational skillsWillingness to work as part of a team and unsupervisedKnowledge of Occupational Safety and Health practicesMinimum MR class drivers licence and own reliable transportCurrent National Police Clearance (within 3 months)Minimum of 2 current refereesShort listed candidates will need to pass a pre-employment medical including instant drug and alcohol testing on day of interview with us. As part of this role you will be required to;

  • Undertake litter removal on prescribed routes, wave pavements as necessary
  • Participate in the investigation and removal of illegal dumping of rubbish
  • Events clean up, cleaning of public facilities, control traffic
  • Site emergencies, oil spills, traffic accidents, vandalism and storm damage clean up
  • Provide excellent customer service in a professional, effective and efficient manner

To be short listed for this role, you will need to meet the below selection criteria;

  • Previous experience in the use of high pressure equipment for cleaning and graffiti removal
  • Experience in the safe operation and user maintenance of a broad range of plant and equipment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Commitment to the delivery of outstanding customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Minimum MR class drivers licence and own reliable transport
