PARKS MAINTENANCE OPERATOR - LOCAL COUNCIL-IMMEDIATE START

Our client is a local council South of the River requires an experienced Streetscape Maintainer for an IMMEDIATE START

38 hour week Monday - Friday - 

DURATION - 1-2 months

As part of this role you will be required to work in a team to maintain a range of parks, streetscapes and recreational areas.

To be considered for this role you will have;

• Previous sound experience in large scale Parks Maintenance 
• Horticulture or Turf qualification (desirable)
• Good Mowing, brush cutting experience
• Chainsaw ticket
• Tractor driving experience
• Experience in using a powered spray unit
• Experience in working unsupervised
• Experience in working to maintenance schedules
• Working knowledge of plants, garden design and maintenance, tree pruning, turf preparation and maintenance
• White Card
• Basic Traffic Management 
• First Aid Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
